Black Sea 200 Privacy Policy

Black Sea 200 is a race tracking app for competitors and race officials. The app is operated by Regatic for the Black Sea 200 regatta.

Information we collect

When you use the app during a regatta, we may collect your email address, boat or competitor identifier, device identifier, operating system, location, speed, course over ground, heading, accuracy, and timestamps. Location can be collected in the background while broadcasting is enabled so the race committee and fleet can follow live race positions.

How we use information

We use this information to authenticate competitors, show live race positions, support race operations, send race notices, troubleshoot tracking, and maintain the service.

Sharing

Live race position data may be visible to race officials and other regatta participants. We do not sell personal information.

Retention

Race tracking data is kept for event operations, review, and troubleshooting, and may be deleted when it is no longer needed.
